    El BCE tiene que volver a enfrentarse con un dilema que no tiene fácil solución, pues trata de alcanzar dos objetivos que son incompatibles: controlar la inflación y asegurar que el mercado europeo no se “fragmente”, es decir, que los tipos de interés sean similares en toda la zona euro. Las medidas adoptadas hasta la fecha pueden ser insuficiente o incluso contraproducentes.

    The ECB once again has to face a dilemma that does not have an easy solution, since it is trying to achieve two objectives that are incompatible: controlling inflation and ensuring that the European market does not disintegrate: that is, that interest rates are similar throughout the euro zone. The measures taken to date may be insufficient or even counterproductive.
