Desde la percepción de un espacio sociocultural marítimo: paisajes mutados, imaginarios y memoria de lugar en la ría de Bilbao

    Desde los escenarios del Abra y la Ría de Bilbao, además de poder desvelar y des-ocultar una maritimidad intrínseca al devenir del territorio, la investigación da lugar a centrarse en dirimir aquellas cuestiones terminológicas que se conceptualizan habitualmente en definiciones como aglomeración urbana, área metropolitana, etc. Divisando desde ahí los límites de dichas categorías para nombrar unas inercias y sinergias de tipo cultural en su globalidad, que se han ido manifestando y plasmando en un área de raigambre fluvial como la abordada. Diversas interpretaciones paisajísticas (Uriarte 2017), socioculturales y antropológicas (Rubio-Ardanaz 2010) e incluso estéticas en cuanto a reminiscencias artísticas y monumentales (Arnaiz et al. 2000), pueden ser metodológicamente consideradas para tratar de escrutar y comprender las transformaciones tan acusadas que en el plano de la fisonomía y del imaginario, transitan desde la concreción urbanística hasta las esferas simbólicas.

    From the scenes of the Abra and the Ria of Bilbao, in addition to being able to reveal and unhide an intrinsic maritimity to the evolution of the territory, the research leads to focus on resolving those terminological issues that are usually conceptualized in definitions such as urban agglomeration, metropolitan area, etc. Watching from there the limits of these categories to name some inertias and synergies of a cultural type in their entirety, which have been manifesting and taking shape in an area of river roots such as the addressed. Various landscape interpretations (Uriarte 2017), socio-cultural and anthropological (Rubio-Ardanaz 2010) and even aesthetic in terms of artistic and monumental reminiscences (Arnaiz et al. 2000), can be methodologically considered to try to scrutinize and understand the transformations so pronounced that on the plane of physiognomy and imagination, they move from urban concretion to symbolic spheres.

    Abrako eta Bilboko itsasadarreko agertokietatik, lurraldearen bilakaeran berezkoa den maritimotasuna agerian jartzeko aukera izateaz gain, ikerketak, oro har, hiri-aglomerazio, metropoli-eremu eta abarren definizioetan kontzeptualizatu ohi diren terminologia-kontuak ebaztera bideratzen du. Hortik ikuskatzen baititugu kategoria horien mugak, kultura-izaerako inertziak eta sinergiak izendatzeko, orotara, kultura-eremu gisa azalduz arakatzen dugun bezalako itsas esparruan gorpuztu direnak. Hainbat interpretazio paisajistiko (Uriarte 2017), soziokultural eta antropologiko (Rubio-Ardanaz 2010) edota estetikoak arte eta monumentuen oroitzapenei dagokienez (Arnaiz et al. 2000), metodologikoki kontuan har daitezke, fisionomiaren eta iruditeriaren alorrean hain nabarmenak diren eraldaketak aztertzen eta ulertzen saiatzeko, hirigintzaren konkreziotik esfera sinbolikora heldu arte.
