    La rebelión de Gonzalo Pizarro fue uno de los mayores desafíos a su autoridad que tuvo que afrontar Carlos V, con la dificultad añadida de la distancia y la debilidad del nuevo marco institucional implantado por las Leyes Nuevas y que solo hizo acrecentar el conflicto. Este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar los principales oficios de la pluma de la Real Audiencia de Lima (canciller, registrador y escribano de Cámara) y su participación durante el levantamiento de Gonzalo Pizarro. Unos oficios que fueron ocupados por personajes influyentes de la sociedad limeña y que no dudaron en significarse en la defensa de la autoridad real y su restablecimiento, yendo más allá de lo que cabría pensar como profesionales de la escritura y el documento.

    Gonzalo Pizarro's rebellion was one of the greatest challenges to his authority that Charles I had to face, with the added difficulty of the distance and the weakness of the new institutional framework established by the Leyes Nuevas, which only increased the conflict. The aim of this study is to analyse the main ‘oficiales de la pluma' of the Real Audiencia ofLima (chancellor, registrer and Chamber Scribe) and their participation during Gonzalo Pizarro's insurrection. These offices were occupied by influential members of Lima society who did not hesitate to defend the royal authority and its re-establishment, going beyond what might be thought of as professionals in the field of writing and documents.
