    El proceso administrativo está dado por cuatros etapas principales conocidas como la planificación, la organización, la dirección y el control, estas etapas inciden en las MIPYMES para un óptimo desarrollo de sus actividades empresariales y por ende alcanzar un buen crecimiento empresarial. La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la incidencia del proceso administrativo en el crecimiento empresarial de las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas (MIPYMES) ope-radoras turísticas del Cantón Puerto López, pues se evidenció falencias en la aplicación del proceso administrativo, que en consecuencia no permite alcanzar su máximo potencial a este grupo de MIPYMES, además existe factores internos y externos que evitan el crecimiento empresarial. Para el presente estudio se empleó una investigación descriptiva acompa-ñada de los métodos inductivo – deductivo, analítico – sintético, histórico, documental y estadístico. Se aplicó una encues-ta a 117 empleados y empleadores de las MIPYMES operadoras turísticas del cantón Puerto López. Como resultado se muestra que la aplicación del proceso administrativo, está limitada por la ausencia de conocimientos, además existe una desorganización dentro de la asociación. Por lo que se recomienda, formar parte de procesos de capacitación o refuerzo de los conocimientos en el área administrativa apoyados por instituciones como el Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado (GAD) Municipal, el Gobierno Provincial y las universidades con convenios e injerencia en la zona.

    The administrative process is given by four main stages known as planning, organization, direction and control, these stag-es affect MIPYMES for an optimal development of their business activities and therefore achieve good business growth. The objective of this research is to determine the incidence of the administrative process on the business growth of the tourism operator MIPYMES of Puerto Lopez city, since there were evidences of deficiencies in the application of the admin-istrative process, which consequently does not allow this group of MIPYMES to reach their maximum potential, in addition there are internal and external factors that hinder business growth. Descriptive research was used for the study, accompa-nied by inductive - deductive, analytical - synthetic, historical, documentary and statistical methods. A survey was applied to 117 employees and employers of the tourism operator MIPYMES of Puerto López city. As a result, it is shown that the application of the administrative process and is limited by the absence of knowledge, in addition there is disorganization within the association. Therefore, it is recommended to be part of training processes or reinforcement of knowledge in the administrative area supported by institutions such as the Municipal Decentralized Autonomous Government (GAD), the Provincial Government and universities with agreements and interference in the area.
