Resumen de La representació visual de la música valenciana actual

En aquest article, tractem d’explicar com el contingut audiovisual acompanya i accentua el missatge tant visual, com sonor i discursiu, del panorama musical valencià actual. Per aquesta raó hem triat a quatre dels grups més representatius de l’àmbit musical del territori. Partim del context històric, polític i social de la població valenciana, sent aquesta part molt important recalcar-la. No s’entén el panorama musical contrahegemònic valencià sense la constant interferència de l’Estat espanyol, des que va conquerir el regne de València durant la guerra de Successió. Posteriorment, arribem a la situació actual del País Valencià on la cultura feta en el nostre idioma té un gran caràcter nacionalista i reivindicatiu, sent alguns dels grans exponents de la música grups com El Diluvi, Tessa, La Fumiga, Prozak Soup, Zoo i Smoking Souls. Sent aquests últims dos als que dedicarem un poc més d’atenció en aquest article.

This article addresses the analysis of the audiovisual con-tent that accompanies and accentuates the visual, sound and discursive message of the current Valencian music scene. For this reason, four of the most representative groups in the fi eld of music in the territory have been chosen for study. Based on the historical, political and social context of the Valencian population, the Valencian music scene is understood as a counter-hegemonic movement to the constant interference of the Spanish State, since the conquest of the kingdom of Valen-cia during the so called Succession War. Nowadays, conside-ring the situation of the Valencian Country, has to be pointed out that the culture made in Valencian language has a great nationalistic and vindictive character, being some of the great exponents of music, groups like: El Diluvi, Tessa, La Fumiga, Prozak Soup, Zoo and Smoking Souls. We will devote special attention to both last groups in this work
