Análisis bibliométrico de la producción científica en torno a la investigación responsable en diferentes áreas de conocimiento

    El objetivo del presente artículo es estudiar bibliométricamente los documentos publicados sobre investigación responsable (IR), registrados en las bases de datos ScienceDirect y Google Scholar, en el rango temporal comprendido entre los años 2008 y 2018. Se seleccionaron 25689 documentos y el análisis cuantitativo mostró un crecimiento sostenido. El análisis de los artículos de investigación (grupo 1), publicados en revistas indexadas, evidenció su predominio, al constituir el 87 % de los documentos producidos. Según el análisis por años, el 2018 fue significativo, pues el 93 % corresponde a artículos de investigación, dato demostrativo del progresivo interés de la comunidad científica en torno a este tema. El porcentaje de publicaciones en IR realizadas en el área de Medicina y Odontología representaron el 21 % del total; en el de las Ciencias Sociales el 18 %; Negocios, Gestión y Contabilidad el 13 %; Psicología y Artes y Humanidades con un 10 % y un 9 % respectivamente. Estos datos evidencian el interés trasversal y el carácter multidisciplinar de la IR; así como el valor que la comunidad científica le atribuye. Las instituciones están centradas en la potenciación de la IR para que sus logros científico-técnicos puedan ser utilizados productivamente por la sociedad. Por ello, los investigadores e instituciones deben abordar la IR, de acuerdo con las prioridades relativas a las diferentes áreas, en función de fomentar la utilidad del logro científico y conseguir una eficaz aplicación de la investigación traslacional responsable.

    The aim of this article is to bibliometrically study the documents published on responsible research (IR), registered in the Science Direct and Google Scholar databases, in the temporal range between the years 2008 and 2018. A total of 25689 documents were selected and the quantitative analysis showed a persistent growth. The analysis of the research articles (group 1), published in indexed journals, and evidenced their predominance, constituting 87% of the documents produced. According to the analysis by years, 2018 was significant, since 93 % corresponds to research articles demonstrating the progressive interest of the scientific community in this topic. The percentage of publications in IR in the field of Medicine and Dentistry represented 21% of the total; in the Social Sciences 18%; Business, Management and Accounting 13%; Psychology and Arts and Humanities with 10 % and 9% respectively. These data show the cross-sectional interest and multidisciplinary nature of IR, as well as the value attributed to it by the scientific community. Institutions are focused on promoting IR so that its scientific and technical achievements can be used productively by society. Therefore, researchers and institutions should approach IR, according to the priorities related to the different areas, in terms of fostering the usefulness of scientific achievement and achieving effective implementation of responsible translational research.
