La tarea del currículo para orientar la Enseñanza de la Geografía en el mundo globalizado

    El propósito es reflexionar sobre la tarea a cumplir por el currículo en la enseñanza de la geografía en las condiciones del mundo globalizado. Tradicionalmente esta labor pedagógica ha sido asumida por las asignaturas establecidas en los currículos para facilitar la formación geográfica escolar. Recientemente en las reformas curriculares se han propuesto conocimientos, estrategias de enseñanza y de evaluación, además los valores geográficos de su acción formativa. Sin embargo, en la práctica escolar cotidiana, todavía persiste la transmisión de conceptos, sin la aplicación pedagógica en el estudio de la realidad, en sus problemáticas ambientales, geográficos y sociales. Eso determinó realizar una revisión bibliográfica sobre el propósito del currículo en la formación educativa y el currículo y la enseñanza de la geografía.

    Concluye al destacar la necesidad de orientar la formación geográfica a interpretar la realidad geográfica actual y aporta fundamentos innovadores de la calidad formativa de la enseñanza de la geografía.

    The purpose is to reflect on the task to be fulfilled by the curriculum in the teaching of geography in the conditions of the globalized world. Traditionally, this pedagogical work has been assumed by the subjects established in the curricula to facilitate school geographic training. Recently, in the curricular reforms, knowledge, teaching and evaluation strategies have been proposed, as well as the geographical values of its formative action. However, in daily school practice, the transmission of concepts still persists, without the pedagogical application in the study of reality, in its environmental, geographical and social problems. This determined to carry out a bibliographic review on the purpose of the curriculum in educational training and the curriculum and teaching of geography. It concludes by highlighting the need to guide geographical training to interpret the current geographical reality and provides innovative foundations for the training quality of geography teaching
