Las naciones que forman parte del Mundo árabe comparten unas características culturales que también son aplicables a la forma en la que viven el deporte, dónde es especialmente interesante fijar el punto de mira en los deportes en los que participa la población femenina El auge internacional del fútbol femenino en los últimos años se haexpandidodeformaquehallegadoinclusoalugaresdóndeantiguamenteeraimpensablesupresencia.Seplanteadesdeesteartículoelanálisisdelasituaciónalaqueseenfrentanlasmujeresdeportistas,enparticularladelasfutbolistas,provenientesderegionesárabes.Se analizará las similitudes que todas ellas comparten, la dificultad que supone serfutbolistaenpaísesenlosqueloshombresejercenelpodersocialyfamiliar,larepercusión que tienen a nivel internacional y finalmente se detallarán las diferencias encontradas acerca de la presencia del futbol femenino entre las 3 regiones del mundo árabe (Magreb, Oriente Medio y Golfo Arábigo). Las reflexiones finales establecen un punto de partida para que las distintas federaciones árabes sigan aunando esfuerzos para darle continuidad y futuro ala inclusión de las futbolistas en sus países.
