Resumen de Estudiantes universitarios y trayecto formativo: Una mirada desde el perfil valoral construido

  Este estudio tiene por objetivo determinar y analizar el perfil valoral que configuran los estudiantes de Ciencias de la Educación de una Universidad pública del estado de Oaxaca en México, considerando su trayecto formativo: nuevo ingreso, nivel intermedio y próximos a egresar. La metodología empleada fue de corte cuantitativo, empleando la Escala de Valores de Shalom Schwartz. Los resultados se analizan con base en tres dimensiones: contenido, estructura y jerarquía de los valores. Se identifica que en la medida que se avanza en los niveles formativos, existe cierta prioridad hacia los valores centrados en lo social como la “Benevolencia”, pero también surge una fuerte tendencia de valores que implican cierta autonomía académica como la “Autodirección” y el “Hedonismo” centrados en lo individual.

  The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the value of the profile of Education Science students at a public university in the state of Oaxaca in Mexico, considering their formative path: new entrants, intermediate level and near graduation.

  The methodology employed was quantitative, using the Shalom Schwartz Values Scale. The results are analyzed based on three dimensions: content, structure and hierarchy of values. It is identified that as one advances in the formative levels, there is a certain priority towards socially centered values such as “Benevolence”, but there is also a strong tendency towards values that imply a certain academic autonomy such as “Self-direction” and “Hedonism” centered on the individual.
