  Este artículo pretende poner en valor el trabajo social rural desarrollado Castilla-La Mancha durante las últimas cuatro décadas, un trabajo social visible y muy presente para los habitantes del entorno rural. A través de la historia del desarrollo de nuestra profesión, analizaré la importancia que hemos tenido como profesión para los habitantes de estos pueblos, pese al olvido progresivo de las instituciones, medios de comunicación y también en parte, por la sociedad globalizada caracterizada por la “falsa bondad” del entorno urbano.

  This article aims to assess the rural social work developed in Castilla-La Mancha during the last four decades, a visible and very present social work for the population of the rural environment. Through the history of the development of our profession, I will analyze the importance that we have had as a profession for the inhabitants of these towns, despite the progressive neglect of the institutions, the media and also, by the globalized society characterized by the “ false goodness ”of the urban environment
