La orientación familiar y su profesionalización: la experiencia de Argentina

    La matrícula —o colegiación— para el libre ejercicio de la profesión de la orientación familiar en Argentina aparece a día de hoy como una “asignatura pendiente”, necesidad insoslayable para los profesionales de esta disciplina académica, para los estudiantes en su proyección profesional y para las propias familias que merecen una asistencia reglada y bien delimitada. No en vano las carreras universitarias de orientación familiar son reconocidas oficialmente por el Ministerio de Educación de la Nación Argentina –a diferencia de otros países—, por lo que el tema de la colegiación de estos profesionales no es baladí.

    La autora, procedente de España, ha realizado una estancia de investigación en la nación argentina pudiendo acercarse a esta realidad, y, aún consciente de las diferencias existentes entre este país y el suyo, pretende en este artículo un acercamiento al estado de esta cuestión, la justificación de la necesidad de colegiación de esta profesión, así como reseñar brevemente la idoneidad de iniciativas legales ad hoc, dado el interés jurídico, social, sanitario y académico del tema, así como su proyección a futuro.

    Enrollment —or membership— for the free exercise of the profession of family counseling in Argentina appears today as a "pending subject", an unavoidable need for professionals in this academic discipline, for students in their professional projection and for the families themselves who deserve regulated and well-defined assistance. It is not in vain that family-oriented university careers are officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of the Argentine Nation -unlike other countries-, so the issue of registering these professionals is not trivial. The author, from Spain, has carried out a research stay in the Argentine nation, being able to approach this reality, and, although aware of the differences between this country and her own, she intends in this article to approach the state of this issue, the justification for the need for membership of this profession, as well as a brief review of the suitability of ad hoc legal initiatives, given the legal, social, health and academic interest of the subject, as well as its future projection
