Resumen de Il mondo "sconociuto" delle marche tipografiche:: Un patrimono comune della civilità europea
The research connected with the four volumes published so far (the fifth is in preparation) of Giuseppina Zappella’s work Le marche dei tipografi e degli editori europei (sec.XV-XIX) shows how the marche constitute a tool that is unknown to most people for getting to know events, details, unexpected and surprising curiosities of all kinds relating to the world of the ancient typographers (exemplification with reproduction of some of the most interesting cases). This is followed by an indication of the methodological criteria followed in the work and the most important results achieved, including above all the large number of marks discussed (over 5,000), many of which have not been surveyed (around 800).
