    En agosto de 2021, los talibán conquistaron Kabul, la capital del país. Si bien para la prensa se trató de una sorpresa, desde el año 2009 se venía negociando una salida pacífica de las tropas internacionales, lo que irremediablemente sería una victoria de los talibán. Aunque los talibán alcanzan el gobierno por segunda vez, existen algunas diferencias significativas entre los dos periodos que vamos a reseñar en este documento. Para ello, vamos a hacer un análisis comparado de las condiciones en las que alcanzaron el poder, del gobierno que formaron en los dos emiratos, de la economía afgana en ambos periodos y por último de las relaciones exteriores, así como de los principales aliados.

    In August 2021, the Taliban conquered Kabul, the capital of the country. Although it came as a surprise to the press, a peaceful exit of international troops had been negotiated since 2009, which would lead to the victory of the Taliban. Although the Taliban reached the government for the second time, there are some significant differences between the two periods that we are going to review in this document. To do so, we will make a comparative analysis of the conditions under which they came to power, of the government they formed in the two Emirates, of the Afghan economy in both periods and finally of the foreign relations as well as of the main allies.
