    Agustín presenta el desarrollo del misterio nupcial como un tejido unitario sobre el que em.erge poco a poco el cuadro de las Bodas de Cristo con la Iglesia, y su realización en el amor del hombre y la mujer. El acontecimiento de la salvación es un misterio nupcial, cuyo fruto es una nueva creación por la participación en Cristo en la comunión trinitaria. Cada fiel puede acoger este don que reactualiza en la vida el misterio de Cristo resucitado. Esca circularidad de los planos trinitario, cristológico y antropológico del misterio muestra en la caritas el propio punto de convergencia. Lo que ha sintetizado de manera original Agusún es esta relación dinámica que fundamenta la circularidad de los planos, mediante el papel del Espíritu. El don de la caridad fundamenta la unidad en la comunión, el ser una cosa sola y un Cuerpo solo en Cristo. Así el cristiano, gracias a la unidad eucarística y sacramental, se convierte en 'miembro' de la única Iglesia-Esposa, en la cual todos forman un solo Cuerpo. El matrimonio y la virginidad se revelan como las dos dimensiones del camino que realiza el amor humano, guiado por el Espíritu, para llegar a la plenitud del amor divino. Así, en el nosotros del amor se hace presente el Nosotros divino, y por medio del "vivir el amor" entra "la luz de Dios en el mundo" (DCE 39).

Every faithful can receive this gift \11bich briogs che mystery of che risen Christ back ioto life. This citcularity of che Trinitarian, Christological and anthropological layers of che mystery, find their poinc of convergence in the caritas. \Xlhat Augustine synthesizes in an original way is chis dynamic relationship, that is based in che circularity of che layers, through che role of che Spirit. The gift of charity founds unity in communion, beiog one and one body only in Christ. Thus, the Christians, thanks to Eucharistic and sacramental unicy, become 'members' of the one Church-Bride, in \11bich ali form one Body. i\i1arriage and virginity reveal themselves to be the two dimensions of che journey that human love takes, guided by the Spirit, to reach the fullness of divine !ove. Thus, in the \ve' of !ove, the divine 'We' is made present, and through "living in love" "che light of God" enters into the world.
