Resumen de ¿Existe adquisición de conocimiento luego de una visita a un museo? Primeros resultados obtenidos en el Centro Interactivo de Ciencia y Tecnología abremate, Universidad Nacional de Lanús (Buenos Aires, Argentina)

  Los centros interactivos de ciencia y tecnología (CICyT) forman parte de una nueva concepción museística que promueven la alfabetización científica a través de aspectos lúdicos e interactivos. Desde el CICyT abremate de la Universidad Nacional de Lanús (Buenos Aires, Argentina) nos preguntamos si una visita no guiada a la sala interactiva contribuye en la adquisición de conocimiento científico-tecnológico. Aquí se expone la metodología empleada para responder esta pregunta y los primeros resultados y reflexiones acerca del alcance de esta clase de propuestas. A su vez, se presenta una breve revisión de las investigaciones llevadas a cabo por el CICyT abremafe, además de la discusión acerca de cómo los diferentes procedimientos metodológicos (análisis de encuestas y test de hipótesis) pueden conducir a resultados que derivan en conclusiones algo distintas. A pesar de no ser del todo concluyente, el análisis permitió reconocer algunas tendencias significativas en favor de la adquisición de conocimiento luego de una visita al centro interactivo.

  The interactive centers of science and technology (CICyT) are part of a new museum concept that promotes scientific literacy through recreational and interactive aspects. From the CICyT abremate of the National University of Lanús (Buenos Aires, Argentina), we wonder if an unguided visit to the interactive room contributes to the acquisition of scientific-technological knowledge. Here is exposed the methodology used to answer this question and the first results and reflections on the scope of this kind of proposal. At the same time, it is presented a brief review of the research carried out by the CICyT abremate, in addition to the discusión about how the different methodological procedures (analysis of surveys and hypothesis tests) can lead to results that lead to somewhat different conclusions. Despite not being entirely conclusive, the analysis allowed recognizing some significant trends to favor of the acquisition of knowledge after a visit to the interactive center.
