    Este artículo es la muestra de un ejercicio reflexivo que sitúa, en primer lugar, algunas consideraciones epistemológicas de autores que se han dedicado al estudio de la infancia o infancias, lo que permite identificar la hermenéutica como paradigma clave para su lectura e interpretación, además del posestructuralismo como una tendencia sobre la que fundan sus ideas y con las que, en segundo lugar, se establecen algunas relaciones entre conceptos binarios que se hacen comprensibles mediante la deconstrucción de sus significados. Adicional a ello, presenta ciertas claridades acerca de la noción de infancia, su carácter emergente y los alcances que ha tenido, en tanto se afirma desde varias fuentes, es una construcción histórica, social y cultural, que ahora constituye el centro de las discusiones de un campo discursivo, que destaca su complejidad y pluralidad, específicamente en el último apartado.

    This article is the evidence of a reflective exercise that places, in the first place, some epistemological considerations by authors focused on the study of childhood or childhoods, which allows us to identify hermeneutics as a key paradigm for their reading and interpretation, in addition to the poststructuralism as a trend on which they base their ideas. In second place, derived from these ideas, some relationships between binary concepts are established and understandable by deconstructing their meanings. In addition, this article clears up the notion of childhood, its emerging character and its scope, as several sources state, childhood is a historical, social and cultural construction which currently constitutes the center of discussions of a discursive field, which highlights its complexity and plurality, in the last section specifically.
