Los grabados parietales de la cueva de Goikolau (Berriatua, Bizkaia). Una revisión en 2015-2107

    El conjunto parietal de la cueva de Goikolau está formado por series de líneas grabadas no figurativas y, excepcionalmente, por alguna figuración animal o series de trazos que, por su organización, pueden entenderse entre los signos abstractos. Su atribución temporal está poco clara desde el descubrimiento de los grabados en 1962. La revisión efectuada ofrece una documentación algo más amplia, especialmente en el apartado fotográfico, y faculta una discusión de varios aspectos. Así, defendemos un ajuste importante entre distintas modalidades técnicas de grabado y las superficies de trabajo, muy variables en la cueva. O entre la disposición preferente de los trazos y las posiciones de trabajo inferibles. A su vez, el análisis de los motivos gráficos no ratifica la existencia de antropomorfos esquemáticos en la cueva. Por el contrario, los rasgos estilísticos de las escasas figuras, su dimensión y su misma disposición, aluden a usos frecuentes en el Paleolítico superior.

    Goikolau haitzuloaren multzo parietala multzo ez figuratudun lerro grabatuek osatzen dute eta, salbuespenez, animalien figurazio edo lerro sorta batzuek, beren antolamenduagatik zeinu abstraktuen artean uler daitezkeenak. Grabazioen aurkikuntzaz geroztik, 1962. urtean egindako zehaztapena ez da argia. Egindako berrikuspenak dokumentazio zabalagoa eskaintzen du, batez ere argazki atalean, eta alderdi desberdinak eztabaidatzeko aukera ematen du. Horrela, grabatzeko modalitate tekniko desberdinen eta lan gainazalen arteko doikuntza garrantzitsua defendatzen dugu, oso aldakorrak baitira leizean. Edo lerroen lehentasunezko antolamenduaren eta ondorioztatutako lan posizioen artean.

    Aldiz, motibo grafikoen analisiak ez du baieztatzen antropomorfo eskematikoak existitzen direnik kobazuloan. Aitzitik, aparteko figurazioen ezaugarri estilistikoak, haien tamaina eta antolamendua, Goi Paleolitoko maiz egiten diren erabilerak lotzen dituzte.

    The parietal ensemble of the Goikolau cave is made up of a series of non-figurative engraved lines and, only exceptionally, by some animal figuration or series of lines that, due to their organization, can be understood among the abstract signs. Its temporal attribution is unclear since the discovery of the engravings in 1962. The review carried out offers somewhat more extensive documentation, especially in the photographic section, and allows a discussion of different aspects. Thus, we defend an important adjustment between different technical modalities of engraving and the work surfaces, which are highly variable in the cave. Or between the preferential arrangement of the lines and the inferred working positions. In turn, the analysis of the graphic motifs does not confirm the existence of schematic anthropomorphs in the cave. On the contrary, the stylistic features of the exceptional figurations, their size and arrangement, allude to frequent uses in the Upper Paleolithic.
