    El Proyecto Palomas resalta en la cinematografía cubana por el sentido en general humanista y feminista de sus creaciones audiovisuales. El artículo se propone analizar y demostrar la importancia de los documentales dirigidos y producidos desde dicha casa productora para las Ciencias Sociales y, en particular, para el estudio de las mujeres cubanas.

    Se valoran algunas de las particularidades estéticas y discursivas que los convierten en fuentes de conocimientos sobre la historia del género femenino en Cuba. Se toman como ejemplos las obras: Mujeres entre el cielo y la tierra (2013); Mujeres…la hora dorada (2014); Mujeres…el alma profunda. Las Hijas de las Estrellas (2015); Estoy viva, lo voy a contar (2016); Mujeres…los poderes vitales del éxito (2017), y Mujeres de la basura al bienestar (2018).

    The documentaries realized by Proyecto Palomas can’t be only appreciate by its film qualities. Due to the humanist and feminist sense of its films, cinematography’s Proyecto Palomas has importance for social sciences like History, Sociology, Psychology, and the Gender Studies. This essay intends to analyze the documentaries and prove its importance as a source of knowledge about Cuban women. As examples will be the documentaries: Women between the heaven and the earth (2013); Women…the gilthead hour (2014); Women…the profound soul.

    The daughters’s stars (2015); I’m alive, i’m going to tell it (2016); Women…the vitals powers of the success (2017); and Women from the garbage until the welfare (2018).
