Resumen de Heterotopía y desacralización en "La Regenta": posibilidades de transfiguración espacial

Es una característica común a gran parte de las obras del realismo decimonónico español el registrar numerosas deformaciones espaciales. El avance del Liberalismo, el auge de la burguesía y el surgimiento de nuevas formas de ocio promueven la transfiguración de los espacios, ajustándolos a sus nuevas funciones. Por tanto, este artículo pretende constituir una propuesta de trabajo, un adentramiento en las posibilidades de análisis de La Regenta a la luz de un estudio heterotopológico, descubriendo dicha tendencia a complejizar la legibilidad de las localizaciones, a la subversión de los espacios, especialmente en forma de heterotopías, sacralizaciones y desacralizaciones.

A common feature of many of the works of Spanish nineteenth-cen-tury realism is that they contain numerous spatial deformations. The spread of Liberalism, the rise of the bourgeoisie and the emergence of new forms of leisure promoted the transfiguration of spaces, adjusting them to their new functions. Therefore, this article aims to construct a working proposal, an insight into the possibilities of analysing La Regenta in the light of a heterotopological study, dis-covering this tendency to complexify the legibility of locations, to the subversion of spaces, especially in the form of heterotopias, sacralisations and desacralisations.
