  • The turn-taking in conversation is an interactive activity that depends on cultural conventions. This article pretends to show first which are the German and the Spanish turn-taking conventions in critical moments of the interaction and second that some of the uncomfortable moments in Spanish-German interaction are the result of cultural divergent turn-taking conventions.
