Resumen de Método ABP en la resolución de problemas de gestión de datos e incertidumbre en una Institución Educativa Pública, 2020

  El objetivo de la investigación estuvo centrado en determinar el efecto del método Aprendizaje Basado en Problemas (ABP) en la resolución de problemas de gestión de datos e incertidumbre de la muestra estudiada. En cuanto a la metodología la investigación fue de tipo aplicada y el diseño utilizado fue cuasiexperimental. La población estuvo conformada por 65 estudiantes de cuarto de secundaria de una institución educativa pública y la muestra estuvo constituida por 15 estudiantes en el grupo control y 15 estudiantes en el grupo experimental. El análisis inferencial a través de la prueba U de Mann-Whitney para probar la hipótesis general, se obtuvo un p-valor = 0.00 < α=0.05 y Z = -4.711 < -1.96 (valor teórico). Entonces, se rechazó la hipótesis nula y se aceptó la hipótesis alternativa, por lo tanto, hay diferencias entre el grupo control y experimental, se verificó que el método ABP tiene un efecto positivo y significativo en la resolución de problemas de gestión de datos e incertidumbre.

  The objective of the research was focused on determining the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method in solving data management problems and uncertainty of the studied sample. Regarding the methodology, the research was applied and the design used was quasi-experimental. The population was made up of 65 fourth-year high school students from a Public Educational Institution and the sample consisted of 15 students in the control group and 15 students in the experimental group. The inferential analysis through the Mann-Whitney U test to test the general hypothesis, a p-value = 0.00 <α = 0.05 and Z = -4.711 <-1.96 (theoretical value) was obtained. Then, the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternative hypothesis was accepted, therefore, there are differences between the control and experimental group, it was verified that the ABP method has a positive and significant effect on the resolution of data management problems and uncertainty.
