    El propósito de este ensayo es analizar la evolución del serviciode abastecimiento de agua en la ciudad de Córdoba (Argentina)desde la inauguración del sistema de agua corriente en 1883hasta mediados de la década de 1930, período durante el cual lagestión estuvo, primero, a cargo del municipio, y luego pasó amanos de organismos creados a tal fin por el gobierno nacional.

    The objective of this essay is to analyze the evolution of watersupply services in the city of Córdoba, Argentina, since theinauguration of the running water system in 1883 until themiddle of the 1930s, a period during which management was,at first, in charge of the municipality and later was transferredto organizations created for that function by the nationalgovernment.
