Resumen de David Bloor y el Programa Fuerte de Sociología de la Ciencia

This article analyses the main theses of the so-called Strong Programme of Sociology of Science that David D. Bloor defends through his interpretation of Wittgenstein's late work, taking from Wittgenstein the social and public notion of language and meaning. The classical notions of the late Wittgenstein that D. Bloor will take to strengthen the Strong Programme will be analysed and, in particular, D. Bloor's response to the paradox that Kripke warns about following a rule and that D. Bloor relates to the social process behind the production of scientific knowledge will be discussed. Finally, the scope of the Strong Programme and D. Bloor's interpretation of Wittgenstein will be assessed, pointing out the weaknesses of the potential sociological reductionism that can be derived from the Strong Programme.

En el presente artículo se analizarán las principales tesis del llamado Programa Fuerte de Sociología de la Ciencia que David Bloor defiende a través de su interpretación de la obra tardía de Wittgenstein, tomando de éste la noción social y pública respecto al lenguaje y al significado. Se analizarán las nociones clásicas del Wittgenstein tardío que el autor tomará para fortalecer el Programa Fuerte y en particular, se discutirá la respuesta que D. Bloor da a la paradoja que Kripke advierte sobre el seguir una regla y que D. Bloor la relaciona con el proceso social que está detrás de la producción del conocimiento científico. Para finalizar se evaluarán los alcances del Programa Fuerte y de la interpretación que D. Bloor hace de Wittgenstein, señalando las debilidades del potencial reduccionismo sociológico que se desprenden del Programa Fuerte.
