Dinámicas de la migración tének del Norte de Veracruz hacia el sur de Tamaulipas: Estudio sobre identidades y racismo

    El presente artículo presenta los primeros hallazgos sobre una investigación acerca de los procesos de conformación y reproducción de identidad frente al racismo estructural en grupos Teenek del norte de Veracruz migrantes en la zona conurbada del sur de Tamaulipas. La propuesta se inscribe en los estudios sobre migración indígena y racismo.

    El objetivo de este trabajo es mostrar la situación de los migrantes teenek en la actualidad y la manera en que los diversos racismos y clasismos que experimentan afectan su formación identitaria. La metodología utilizada es de tipo cualitativo.

    Se aplicaron como herramientas de investigación la entrevista semiestructurada y la revisión documental. Una de las conclusiones del escrito es que no se presenta un solo tipo de racismo sino varios sobre los indígenas tének, además las maneras en que se afecta su identidad depende de los recursos sociales, económicos y culturales que las y los migrantes tienen desde su lugar de origen.

    This article presents the first findings of an investigation about the processes of identity formation and reproduction in the face of structural racism in tenek groups from the north of Veracruz, migrants in the southern metropolitan area of Tamaulipas. The proposal is part of the studies on indigenous migration and racism. The objective of this work is to show the current situation of tenek migrants and the way in which the various racism and classism they experience affect their identity formation. The methodology used is qualitative. The semi-structured interview and the documentary review were applied as research tools. One of the conclusions of the writing is that there is not a single type of racism but several about the tenek indigenous people, in addition the ways in which their identity is affected is heterarchical and depends on the previous social and economic resources that the migrant has in your place of origin.
