    El carnaval de Cádiz expone cada febrero en las tablas de El Gran Teatro Falla, la esencia de Cádiz, su arte, su fuerza y su reclamo social se pregonan a los cuatro vientos, agrupaciones de hombres y mujeres participan de un concurso para el que han ensayado durante meses, atrás quedan largas horas de esfuerzo y dedicación en las que han desembolsado parte de sus ahorros para ofrecer su mejor puesta en escena, han tenido dificultades a la hora de conciliar su vida familiar, laboral y carnavalera. Problemas que son más destacables en la mayoría de las mujeres gaditanas, en ellas se centra este artículo, porque muchas gaditanas cuentan con facultades para cantar, pero no ven reconocida su valía en el concurso y fuera del mismo tampoco se encuentran con posibilidades reales para ganarse la vida cantando y pregonando a los cuatro vientos que aman a Cádiz y a su Carnaval, el cual está por encima del género y la desigualdad

    The Cadiz Carnival exhibits every February on the stage of El Gran Teatro Falla, the essence of Cadiz, its art, its strength and its social claim are proclaimed from the rooftops, groups of men and women participate in a contest for which they have rehearsed for months, behind are long hours of effort and dedication in which they have disbursed part of their savings to offer their best staging, they have had difficulties in reconciling their family, work and carnival life. Problems that are more notable in the majority of women from Cadiz, this article focuses on them, because many women from Cadiz have the ability to sing, but they do not see their worth recognized in the contest and outside of it they do not find real possibilities to earn a living singing and proclaiming to the four winds that love Cádiz and its Carnival, which is above gender and inequality, because the carnival is felt, and that feeling overcomes any social justice.
