Resumen de Aportaciones de la disciplina espeleológica a la arqueología: Las pinturas rupestres de la Cueva de los Murciélagos (Zuheros, Córdoba)

El descubrimiento de pinturas rupestres en la provincia de Córdoba se debe, en gran medida, a las actividades de los grupos espeleológicos provinciales iniciadas desde finales de la década de los 50 del pasado siglo.
Al tiempo, su intervención en la investigación de las mismas ha venido siendo fundamental. La bibliografía que sobre ellas se ha generado no siempre ha reflejado estas aportaciones, que incluso han llegado a obviarse.
Ejemplo flagrante de ello se produce con el descubrimiento, estudios previos, y colaboración en la investigación arqueológica realizada por miembros del grupo GEC de Córdoba, tras el hallazgo por los mismos del “Panel de las Cabras” y otras representaciones de arte parietal prehistórico en la Cueva de los Murciélagos de Zuheros. El presente artículo, además de intentar mitigar este desagravio histórico, realiza un recorrido historiográfico al respecto, recogiéndose las descripciones e interpretaciones ofrecidas a lo largo de los años respecto a dichas pinturas.

The discovery of cave paintings in the province of Córdoba is due, to a large extent, to the activities of the provincial speleological groups initiated since the late 50s of the last century. At the same time, its intervention in the investigation of the same has been fundamental. The bibliography that has been generated on them has not always reflected these contributions, which have even been ignored.
A flagrant example of this occurs with the discovery, previous studies, and collaboration in the archaeological research carried out by members of the GEC group of Córdoba, after the discovery by them of the "Panel de las Cabras" and other representations of prehistoric parietal art in the Cueva de los Murciélagos of Zuheros. This article, in addition to trying to mitigate this historical redress, makes a historiographical tour in this regard, collecting the descriptions and interpretations offered over the years regarding these paintings.
