    La radiología constituye una parte muy importante en el manejo del paciente con neumonía COVID-19, además, el rápido avance en el conocimiento sobre esta enfermedad ha permitido establecer un uso adecuado de las pruebas de imagen así como correlación de los hallazgos con la fisiopatología de la enfermedad. Por ello, resulta de gran utilidad para el profesional sanitario poseer ciertos conocimientos acerca de sus manifestaciones, evolución y posibles complicaciones en imagen. Las dos herramientas que van a emplearse son la Radiografía de tórax y la Tomografía computarizada torácica, cada una con sus indicaciones correspondientes.

    Radiology is a very important part in the management of the patient with COVID-19 pneumonia. Moreover, the rapid progress in the knowledge of this disease has allowed establishing an adequate use of imaging tests as well as correlating the findings with the pathophysiology of the disease. Therefore, it is very useful for the health professional to have certain knowledge about its manifestations, evolution and possible imaging complications. The two tools to be used are the chest X-ray and thoracic computed tomography, each with its corresponding indications
