Resumen de Experiencias de profesionalización y configuraciones identitarias de jóvenes indígenas migrantes que estudiaron en la Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa: apuntes desde el enfoque de género

  El artículo sobre juventudes indígenas resulta interesante debido a los escasos datos sobre sus trayectos migratorios. El acercamiento es exploratorio y su objetivo es describir las experiencias de jóvenes que migraron para estudiar en la Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa (UAS) México, así como sus configuraciones identitarias. Los y las sujetas de investigación son 8 jóvenes de Oaxaca y Chiapas, profesionalizados en la UAS, elegidos mediante un muestreo de juicio cualitativo que consistió en la selección de las unidades a partir de criterios conceptuales, definidos teóricamente, teniendo en cuenta ciertas características tales como: autoadscribirse como indígena, haber migrado para estudiar, haberse profesionalizado en la UAS y aceptar participar en la entrevista. Los resultados se construyen en tres ejes de inserción que son:

  a entornos urbanos; escolares y, laborales, mismos que visibilizan por una parte las dificultades u obstáculos que han tenido los y las jóvenes en su transitar y por otra parte, representan las estrategias construidas como forma de resistencia para conservar el vínculo con su comunidad de origen. La perspectiva de género transversalizada con la categoría de etnia permite visibilizar las desigualdades sociales al interrelacionar las subjetividades y las narrativas para comprender cómo las prácticas culturales persisten en sus cotidianidades.

  The article on indigenous youths is interesting due to the scarce data on their migratory paths. The approach is exploratory and its objective is to describe the experiences of young people who migrated to study at the Autonomous University of Sinaloa (UAS) Mexico, as well as their identity configurations. The research subjects are 8 young people from Oaxaca and Chiapas, professionalized at the UAS, chosen through a qualitative judgment sampling that consisted of selecting the units based on conceptual criteria, theoretically defined, taking into account certain characteristics such as: self-enroll as an indigenous person, have migrated to study, have become a professional at the UAS and agree to participate in the interview. The results are built on three axes of insertion which are: to urban environments; school and work, which make visible on the one hand the difficulties or obstacles that young people have had in their transit and, on the other hand, represent the strategies constructed as a form of resistance to maintain the link with their community of origin. The gender perspective mainstreamed with the ethnicity category allows to visualize social inequalities by interrelating subjectivities and narratives to understand how cultural practices persist in their daily lives.
