    Revisión de los actos conmemorativos en Francia en 2022 del bicentenario del nacimiento de la artista Rosa Bonheur (1822-1899), complementada con una investigación de los antecedentes de esta efemérides en 1922. Análisis sobre el conocimiento y divulgación de la artista y de su obra en el panorama historiográfico y crítico español y de su largo olvido, hasta la reciente “reaparición”, con gran aceptación pública, de su obra “El Cid” conservada en los almacenes del Museo del Prado desde su donación por Ernest Gambart al estado español en 1879.

    Review of the commemorative events in France in 2022 of the bicentenary of the birth of artist Rosa Bonheur (1822-1899), expanded with an investigation of the background of this event in 1922. Analysis of the knowledge and dissemination of the artist and her work in the Spanish historiographical and critical panorama and her long oblivion, until the recent "reappearance", with great public acceptance, of her work "El Cid" preserved in the reserves of the Prado Museum since its donation by Ernest Gambart to the Spanish state in 1879.
