Mientras realizaba una investigación sobre la nomenclatura de las arañas, la autora detectó una posible homonimia, a saber, entre el género de araña filodrómida Eminella Özdikmen, 2007 y el género de bradóridos "Eminella" Li, 1975. Sin embargo, investigaciones posteriores demostraron que "Eminella" era una grafia posterior de Emeiella Lee, 1975. Así, la homonimia no se producía. No obstante, esta investigación descubrió dos grafías posteriores incorrectas de Emeiella (la otra es “Emiella”) y una grafía inconsistente del apellido del autor en algunos artículos publicados. Aquí se discuten estos asuntos.

Whilst conducting research on the nomenclature of spiders, a possible homonymy was detected by the author, namely of the philodromid spider genus Eminella Özdikmen, 2007 and the bradoriid genus “Eminella” Li, 1975. However, subsequent research found “Eminella” was an incorrect subsequent spelling of Emeiella Lee, 1975. Thus, the homonymy was non-existent. Nonetheless, this research uncovered two incorrect subsequent spellings of Emeiella (the other being “Emiella”) and inconsistent spelling of the author’s surname in some published articles. These matters are discussed herein.
