    El objetivo principal de este artículo es realizar una aproximación a la visión que Madame d’Aulnoy hizo de España en su libro de viajes Relación del viaje de España. En su diario recopila información que le llama la atención del país, pero lo que nos interesa fundamentalmente es que describe las costumbres de las mujeres, la indumentaria y las joyas. A través de su relato analizaremos las prendas que se utilizaban en España, así como las semejanzas y diferencias que había respecto a Francia.

    The main objective of this article is to make an approximation to the vision that Madame d’Aulnoy made of Spain in her travel book Travels into Spain. In her diary she gathers information about the country that catches her attention, but what interests us most is her description of the women’s customs, clothing and jewellery. Through his story we will analyze the clothes that were used in Spain, as well as the similarities and differences that there were with respect to France.
