    En la literatura marroquí, diversa y plural, existe un género literario poco estudiado. Se trata de la literatura carcelaria o “literatura de los años de plomo”, que intentó romper el silencio impuesto durante los “años de plomo” (1956-1999), generando un contrarrelato frente al discurso oficial del régimen marroquí. Este artículo intenta analizar, a través del estudio de la historia reciente de Marruecos desde su independencia en 1956 hasta el fallecimiento del rey Hassan II (1999), el género “literatura de cárceles” desde sus inicios hasta la actualidad y el lugar que ocupa en el contexto literario marroquí y árabe

    The “years of lead” in prison literature in Morocco». Moroccan literature is characterized by its plurality and diversity, whether at the level of its languages, themes or genres. However, one genre of this literature has not yet received the attention it deserves from translation and literary criticism. It is about prison literature or “literature of the yearsof lead”(1956-1999), which tried to break the silence imposed during the years of lead, generating a counter-narrative against the official discourse of the Moroccan regime.This article attempts to analyze, through the study of the recent history of Morocco from its independence in 1956 until the death of King Hassan II (1999), the genre “prison literature”from its beginnings to the present and the place it occupies in the Moroccanliterary context.
