  La primera parte del trabajo glosa aspectos históricos, cuyo contenido se incluye enel apéndice, y el resto trata de presentar una propuesta de planimetría con base principalmenteen varias descripciones del siglo XIX para conocer, tras la interpretación de estos textos, cómofue el edificio y sus anejos antes de su desamortización de los frailes en 1835. De entre todosdestaca “la escritura de desamortización, otorgada en la ciudad de Córdoba de 1845”. Ésta alser más extensa y venir acompañada de numerosas referencias métricas será el documentomás adecuado para configurar la referida representación gráfica. Los criterios científicos e his-tóricos y éticos utilizados en nuestro trabajo nos permitirán configurar un resultado suficien-temente verídico susceptible de expresar y transmitir cómo fue el espacio urbano que ocupóel convento en la Edad Moderna y Contemporánea. La metodología empleada consistirá enencajar la descripción de las dependencias y su geométrica en el estado actual, sin olvidar lafuncionalidad que rigió este tipo de edificios destinados a morada y culto.

  The first part of this paper consists of a commentary on some historical points, thecontent of which is included in the appendix, and the remainder deals with the presentationof a proposal for a planimetric study based principally on a number of nineteenth-centurydescriptions: its purpose is to establish, following the interpretation of these texts, what thebuilding and its annexes were like before its disentailment from the friars in 1835. Among allof these, the most significant is “the deed of disentailment, granted in the city of Córdoba in1845”. This, since it is the most extensive of the sources and is accompanied by numerous re-ferences to measurements, will be the most appropriate document for configuring the graphicrepresentaion to which we have referred. The scientific, historical and ethical criteria used inour work will enable us to configure a sufficiently accurate result which is capable of expres-sing and communicating the nature of the urban space which the convent occupied in the earlymodern and late modern periods. The methodology to be used will involve relating the des-cription of the buildings and their geometric structure to their present state, without forgettingthe functionality which governs this kind of building, intended for both residence and worship.
