Resumen de Malvinas en una historieta local: Matías y familia y la guerra argentino-británica de 1982

En el presente artículo analizamos de qué manera abordó la guerra de Malvinas de 1982 Matías y familia, una historieta local publicada en el diario bahiense La Nueva Provincia (medio gráfico fuertemente vinculado al sector militar y al gobierno dictatorial argentino). Atravesado por una impronta local y por las particularidades de una ciudad que se movilizó en torno al conflicto, la tira construyó representaciones sociales sobre la guerra y los actores involucrados a partir de una lógica triunfalista que legitimó la acción militar, rigiéndose por una estructura dicotómica que contrapuso a argentinos y británicos (incorporando junto a estos últimos a Estados Unidos).

In this article we analyse how Matías y familia, a local comic published in La Nueva Provincia (newspaper of Bahía Blanca linked to the military sphere and the Argentinian dictatorial government), approached the Malvinas’ war of 1982. Crossed by a local perspective and by the particular context of the city that mobilized around the conflict, the comic has built social representations about the war and the actors involved since triumphalist perspective that legitimized the military action, and since one dichotomy structure that in front of Argentines and British (incorporating the United States along with the latter)
