Líneas crediticias de la Corporación Financiera Nacional B.P. dirigidas al sector turístico durante los periodos 2019 al 2021

    En Ecuador, la Corporación Financiera Nacional es el organismo que promueve la política de desarrollo económico a través de créditos a los sectores productivos, sean personas naturales o jurídicas; dentro de estos, el turismo.El objetivo de investigación se centró en analizar el comportamiento de las líneas crediticias que tal organización destinó al sector turístico, durante 2019-2021, mediante la revisión documental de estadísticas publicadas por la Corporación y el Ministerio de Turismo, en que se determina el comportamiento de colocación de créditos para este sector aplicando el método de análisis. Como resultados se obtuvo en los tres años, la mayor colocación del segmento turismo en actividades de alojamiento, siendo éste en 2019 (89%), en 2020 (5%) y 2021 (6%), teniendo una leve recuperación en ese último año, por efectos de la pandemia covid-19; respecto del 2019 en que la colocación alcanzó los 19 millones; en el 2020 hay un decrecimiento de 18 millones aproximadamente y en 2021 un leve incremento con respecto al 2020 de 116 mil dólares.En 2019 las operaciones crediticias beneficiaron mayormente a servicios de alojamiento de hoteles, suites de hoteles, aparthoteles, hosterías, complejos turísticos, actividad que también generó los 2 años siguientes; otra actividad que tuvo colocaciones en los 3 periodos fueron restaurantes, cafeterías, cevicherías, picanterías, comida para llevar. Se concluye que la política crediticia ejecutada por la Corporación Financiera Nacional ha logrado resultados positivos en la colocación de créditos dirigidos al sector turístico, lo cual aporta en la generación de fuentes de empleo y desarrollo.Palabras clave: alojamiento, banca pública, crédito, turismo, servicios de comidas.

    In Ecuador, the National Finance Corporation is the financial organization that promotes the economic development policy through credits to the productive sectors, whether natural or legal persons; within these, credit lines were also established for tourism.The objective of this research focused on analyzing the behavior of the credit lines that such organization destined to the tourism sector, during 2019-2021, through the documentary review of statistics published by the Corporation and the Ministry of Tourism, in which the behavior of credit placement for this sector is determined by applying the analysis method. As results were obtained in the three years, the highest placement of the tourism segment in lodging activities, being this in 2019 (89%), in 2020 (5%) and 2021 (6%), having a slight recovery in the latter year, due to the effects of the pandemic covid-19; with respect to 2019 in which the placement reached 19 million; in 2020 there is a decrease of approximately 18 million and in 2021 a slight increase with respect to 2020 of 116 thousand dollars.In 2019 the credit operations benefited mostly hotel accommodation services, hotel suites, aparthotels, inns, resorts, activity that also generated the following 2 years; another activity that had placements in the 3 periods were restaurants, cafeterias, cevicherías, picanterias, take-out food. It is concluded that the credit policy implemented by the National Finance Corporation has achieved positive results in the placement of loans to the tourism sector, which contributes to the generation of sources of employment and development.Key words: lodging, public banking, credit, tourism, food services.
