    La presente comunicación tiene como fin publicar un documento inédito del sigloXVIII, inserto en un cronicón manuscrito sobre la TOR, correspondiente al Capítulo III,titulado Vida maravillosa del Venerable Padre fr. Pedro Sánchez, religioso de nuestra OrdenTercera de la provincia de San Miguel Arcángel de Andalucía y Reino de Granada. Asimismo,analizamos la diversidad y riqueza de los hechos taumatúrgicos, rasgos ascéticos y místicosde su trayectoria vital. Lirismo y religiosidad popular completan muchos aspectos de nuestrosingular relato, pleno de recursos lingüísticos y retóricos en general, dentro del más puroestilo hagiográfico. Por otro lado, creemos que el espíritu del primitivo franciscanismo se hacepresente en el caso estudiado, como en aquellas clásicas florecillas del santo de Asís.

    This paper includes an unpublished document from the eighteenth century, insertedin a manuscript chronicle about the TOR (Third Order Regular), and corresponding to the thirdchapter which is entitled ‘The Miraculous Life of the Venerable Father Pedro Sánchez, Friarof Our Third Order in the Province of San Miguel Archangel of Andalusia and the Kingdomof Granada’. Likewise we analyze the diversity and richness of the thaumaturgic facts andthe ascetic and mystic features of his lifetime. Lyricism and popular religiosity make up manyaspects of our unique story, which is full of linguistic and rhetorical resources that in generalare to be found within the purest hagiographic style. On the other hand, we believe that theearly Franciscan spirit is present in the case under study, just as it is in the classic ‘Fioretti’ bythe Saint of Assisi.
