Resumen de The Astrolabe and the Book in 16th Century France
The relationship between books about astrolabes and the instruments themselves is examined through an analysis of the numbers surviving, and something of the context in which they were produced. Such biographical information as is available for the makers of astrolabes in France is rehearsed, and a checklist of surviving instruments is appended.
