Resumen de Las medallas Pierre de Coubertin: El galardón del reconocimiento del ideario olímpico en la realidad de la práctica deportiva actual

El presente trabajo tiene el objetivo de profundizar en el conocimiento sobre el galardón que está reconocido por la estructura del Movimiento Olímpicocomo una de las mayores distinciones y honores que se pueden otorgar a un deportista olímpico:La Medalla Pierre de Coubertin. Es lamedalla al verdadero espíritu deportivoque asume y premiala fundamentación ideológica Coubertiniana que motivó a Pierre de Fredy para impulsar el Movimiento Olímpico.Tras la revisión de la bibliografía y las referencias encontradas al respecto de su definición y devenir,hemos realizado una breve exposición histórica de su creación y evolución haciendo una referencia a los galardonados y sus circunstancias.

The aim of this paper is to deepen our knowledge of the award that is recognized by the structure of the Olympic Movement as one of the highest distinctions and honors that can be awarded to an Olympic athlete: The Pierre de Coubertin Medal. It is the medal for true sportsmanship that assumes and rewards the Coubertinian ideological foundation that motivated Pierre de Fredy to promote the Olympic Movement.After reviewing the bibliography and the references found regarding its definition and development, wehave made a brief historical exposition of its creation and evolution, referringto the award winners and their circumstances.
