El presente estudio es una primera aproximación al estudio del Derecho sucesorio de la mujer en Roma. Se ofrece una panorámica general de su capacidad testamentaria (testamenti factio) a lo largo de las distintas épocas del Derecho romano, e igualmente se estudia la posibilidad de suceder y ser sucedida ab intestato.

This study aims to make a first approach to women’s inheritance law in Rome. An overview of her testamentary capacity is shown during the different periods of Roman Law, as well as her inheritors in the event that she died intestate. This intends to see her legal capacity through her testamenti factio.
