    el propósito de éste trabajo es humilde: ofrecer unas muestras de las dificultades que tuvieron que afrontar los monasterios terciarios que salpicaban la geografía española, en la segunda mitad del siglo XV. Aunque la orden hubiese sido aprobada por diferentes papas, su identidad y autonomía fue atacada constantemente por otras instituciones eclesiales, principalmente por los frailes menores. La problemática de algunos monasterios ilustra la de toda la congregación. El trabajo ofrece, luego, una visión general de las tensiones que afrontó la TOR en Europa para poder vivir su identidad regular y canónica. Al final, presenta un elenco de los visitadores o ministros generales que rigieron la TOR española, acompañado de unas escuetas noticias. Sintetiza esta historia llena de proyectos y adversidades con estas escuetas palabras: fluyó entre la ilusión y eldesencanto. La fuente documental usada con preferencia es el Bulario Franciscano.

    The purpose of this work is humble: to offer a few simples of the difficulties thar had to confront the tertiary monasteries that were splashing the Spanish geography, in the secondhalf of the XVth century. Although the order had been approved by different popes, his identityand autonomy were attacked constantly by other church institutions, principally by the minorfriars. The problems of some monasteries illustrates those of the whole congregation. The workoffers, then, a general vision of the tensions that the TOR confronted in Europe to be able to livethrough his regular and canonical identity. At the end, it presents a list of the visitors or generalministers who governed the Spanish TOR, accompanied of a few plain news. It synthesizes this history full of projects and adversities with these plain words: it flew between the illusion and thethe disappointment.
