    El relato filosófico de Charles Taylor pretende superar la tradición gnoseológica mediacionalista y poner las bases, siguiendo a Merleau-Ponty, Heidegger y Wittgenstein, de un nue-vo saber que se encamine hacia un nivel más primordial y que permita poner en contacto con la estructura encarnada del hombre. Es un rela-to que pretende «esculpir» un nuevo planteamiento epistemológico que su-pera el dualismo y todo lo que aleja al hombre del dogmatismo y el extraña-miento tanto de sí mismo como de su compromiso con el mundo. Taylor rei-vindica un realismo robusto sobre la riqueza y la multiplicidad cultural que permita la superación del relativismo y la comprensión de horizontes que permitan la comprensión recíproca.

    The philosophical account of Charles Taylor aims to overcome the mediationalist and gnoseological tradition and lay the foundations, following Merleau-Ponty, Heidegger and Wittgenstein, in a new knowledge that is directed towards a more primordial level that allows contact with the embodied structure of the man. It is a story that aims to «sculpt» a new epistemological approach that overcomes dualism and everything that distances man from dogmatism and estrangement both from himself and from his commitment to the world. Taylor claims a robust realism about cultural richness and multiplicity that allows the overcoming of relativism and the understanding of horizons that allow reciprocal understanding.
