    La Catedral de Santiago guarda siglos de historia tras sus paredes de piedra.

    Asimismo, ha sido y es todavía un codiciado objeto de estudio para historiadores y arqueólogos. En uno de sus lugares más desconocidos, la Buchería, nos encontramos con un maravilloso arcosolio cuya inscripción nos habla de Tomás González, uno de los chantres más reputados de la Catedral de Santiago y piedra angular de este artículo dada su relevancia en la sede. A través de los estudios del Archivo y de varios historiadores, intentaremos reunir la información necesaria para conocer a este personaje, su importancia y el posible diseño de su tumba.

    The Santiago de Compostela Cathedral keeps centuries of history behind its stone walls. It also has been and still is a coveted object of study for historians and archaeologists.

    In one of its most unknown places, called Buchería, we find a wonderful arcosolio whose inscription speaks of Tomás González, one of the most reputable cantors of the Cathedral of Santiago and the key matter of this article because of its relevance at the see. Through the studies of the Archive and several historians, we will try to gather the necessary information to know this character, his importance and the possible design of his tomb.
