    O presente texto analisa alguns aspectos da relação entre verdade e ficção na construção dos textos freudianos à luz de um conjunto de cartas pertencente à coleção hipocrática. Nossa intenção é a de traçar algumas possíveis aproximações entre uma tradição médica diferente da do final do século XIX e a psicanálise freudiana tendo em vista o embaralhamento, em ambas, da separação entre verdade e ficção no processo terapêutico e na escritura de texto.

    The present study analyzes some aspects of the relationship between truth and fiction in the construction of Freudian works in the light of a set of letters belonging to the Hippocratic collection. Our purpose is to make some possible approaches between a medical tradition different from that of the late 19th century and Freudian psychoanalysis in order to mix together, in both, the separation between truth and fiction in the therapeutic process and in the writing of the text.
