El autor parte de los descubrimientos del padre del psicoanálisis, Freud. Expone las contradicciones entre teoría y práctica psicoanalítica que contemplaron los psicoanalistas que participaban en la psiquiatría de la época. Señala el incesante enriquecimiento del conocimiento psicoanalítico con la aparición y desarrollo de otras disciplinas complementarias, por ejemplo, las neurociencias. Recuerda las experiencias realizadas por psicoanalistas en sus tratamientos a niños, parejas, familias, grupos y patologías severas, que ayudaron a la confección de modificaciones de la técnica, desde la cura tipo hasta las curas vinculares y la psicoterapia. Concluye el autor con la notificación de su tesis: “el grupoanálisis incluye como objetivo los cambio intrapsíquico, familiar y social del paciente”.

The author starts from the discoveries of the father of psychoanalysis, Freud. It exposes the contradictions between theory and psychoanalytic practice contemplated by psychoanalysts involved in psychiatry at the time. It points to the incessant enrichment of psychoanalytic knowledge with the emergence and development of other complementary disciplines, for example, neurosciences. It recalls the experiences made by psychoanalysts in their treatments to children, couples, families, groups and severe pathologies, which helped to make modifications of the technique, from the type cure to the linking cures and psychotherapy. The author concludes with the notification of his thesis: "Groupanalysis includes as an objective the intrapsychic, family and social changes of the patient".
