Resumen de La piedra bogadera de Zaloa, en el Valle de Orozko. Un bloque de cinco toneladas para lavar la ropa

En este trabajo se lleva a cabo un estudio integral sobre un bloque de piedra de gran tamaño aparecido en el caserío Angelua de Zaloa, en el valle de Orozko (Bizkaia), desde su extracción y labra hasta su adecuación como base para hacer la colada tradicional con ceniza. También hemos tratado de acercarnos al origen y evolución de este modelo de piedras, tanto circulares como cuadrangulares, dotadas de reborde y canal de desagüe, y mayormente utilizadas como bases de prensa para vino y aceite desde época romana. A continuación, el trabajo se ha centrado en buscar citas documentales en torno a la actividad de la colada para tratar de determinar el momento aproximado en que surgieron estas piedras para una función única, la de colar el agua de lejía en la limpieza de la ropa del hogar.
El trabajo finaliza con una interpretación de los huecos labrados en la piedra y sus posibles usos en el proceso de una colada o bogada, sin olvidar el contexto histórico que estaba vigente, atendiendo a la cronología de finales de siglo XVIII que le hemos adjudicado, con las ideas ilustradas en torno a la salubridad e higiene muy presentes.

Lan honetan, Orozko (Bizkaia) haraneko Angelua izeneko baserrian agertutako tamaina handiko harrizko bloke bati buruzko azterketa integral bat egiten da, harrobian erauzte eta lantzetik ohiko bogada egiteko oinarri gisa egokitu arte. Era berean, harri-eredu horren jatorri eta bilakaerara hurbiltzen saiatu gara, zirkularrak edo lau angelukoak, ertzak eta hustubide-kanala dituztenak, eta, batez ere, ardo eta olio prentsarako oinarri gisa erabiltzen direnak erromatarren garaitik. In this work, a comprehensive study is carried out on a large block of stone that appeared in the Angelua farmhouse in the Orozko Valley (Bizkaia), from its extraction and tilling to its suitability as a base for making traditional laundry. We have also tried to approach the origin and evolution of this model of stones, circular or quadrangular, with a rim and a drainage channel, and mostly used as press bases for wine and oil since Roman times. Next, the work has focused on finding documentary citations around the activity of the laundry to try to determine the approximate moment in which these stones emerged for a unique function, that of straining the lye water in the cleaning of household linen.
The work ends with an interpretation of the holes carved in the stone and their possible uses in the process of a casting, without forgetting the historical context that was in force, attending to the chronology of the end of the 18th century that we have assigned to it, with the ideas illustrated around the health and hygiene very present
