    Se pretende identificar, a través de la metateoría, las teorías aplicadas en la clasificación de voces de la Cla-sificación Decimal de Dewey (CDD). Para ello, se es-tablecieron los siguientes objetivos específicos: a) rea-lizar una revisión bibliográfica sobre la metateoría para comprenderla y aplicarla como método en la presente investigación; b) investigar, a través de la metateoría, las primeras clasificaciones sobre voces para com-prender las teorías que utiliza la música; c) comparar y discutir la clasificación de voces CDD desde la pers-pectiva de las teorías musicales). Se concluye que las descripciones de voces del CDD parten del principio de la teoría musical, pero la forma en que se categori-zan, además de difundir ideas preconcebidas, no se sustenta en la teoría de la clasificación

    Metatheoryis used to identify and undestandthe theo-ries applied in the voice classification of the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC). To this end, the follow-ing specific objectives were established: a) to carry out a bibliographic review on the meta-theory to under-stand it and apply it as a method in the present re-search; b) to investigate, through metatheory, the first classifications about voices in order to understand the theorys used by Music; c) compare and discuss the DDC voice classification from the perspective of the music theorys. It is concluded that the descriptions of voices from DDC start from the principle of music the-ory, but the way in which they are categorized dissem-inatespre-conceived ideasand is not supported by classification theoryprinciples
