La existencia de seis nombres de carácter indígena escritos con Z (Luraezi, Aneza, Caizita, Nezutus, Contaiza y Arbaiza) en inscripciones funerarias fechables entre mediados del siglo I y comienzos del II procedentes del centro de la península ibérica, dentro del territorio correspondiente a carpetanos, celtíberos y vetones, aportan interesantes datos para el conocimiento de la fonética y fonología celtibérica e hispano-celta y su adecuación al alfabeto latino.

The existence of six indigenous names written with Z (Luraezi, Aneza, Caizita, Nezutus, Contaiza and Arbaiza) on funerary inscriptions datable between the mid-first and early second centuries from the centre of Spain, within the territory of the Carpetani, Celtiberians, and Vettones, offers interesting data for the understanding of Celtiberian and Hispano-Celtic phonetics and phonology, and their adaptation to the Latin alphabet.
