    Presentamos las nuevas hipótesis sobre el anfiteatro de Italica, Santiponce (Sevilla) gracias a la consulta de expedientes, informes arqueológicos, archivos, ilustraciones y los primeros planos oficiales del edificio. De esta forma, vemos detalles que restituyen la concepción que de forma tradicional se ha tenido del edificio, con la inclusión de un nuevo elemento estructural interior, que nos permite establecer su altura en proporción con la base de sus cáveas, y un nuevo cálculo del aforo gracias a la determinación de su diseño geométrico que permite la adaptación del edificio al terreno.

    Introducing the new hypothesis about the amphitheater of Italica, Santiponce (Sevilla) through expedient consultation, archaeological reports, files, illustrations and official plans. Thus, we see details that restore the conception that traditionally we have about the building, with the inclusion of a new structural interior element, that it also allows us to establish its height in proportion to the base of its steps, and a new calculation of capacity thanks to the determination of its geometric design that allows adaptation of the building to the ground.
