  • The following, in chronological order; is a list of the plunder of Guanche mummies that have been documented between the d iscovery of the burial cave of Herques in 1763 and the outbreak of the Spanish-British War of 1804, a conflict that interrupted for more than 10 years the departure of mummified remains heading to Europe.
