  • Part of a special section on 19th-century sculpture. Due to the political situation in Poland, which has resulted in a general decline in cultural activity, there have been few studies or publications dedicated to sculpture in the past ten years. The main work has been D. Kaczmarczyk's Polish Sculpture from the 16th century to the beginning of the 20th century in the catalogue of the collections of the National Museum in Warsaw (1973). A bibliography of general and specific studies, as well as ongoing researches that have appeared since 1980, is provided.
